Anotha Week (May 29, 2023)

Image
Hey everyone, I don't have too much to say this week haha but I hope you're all doing really good! I love and miss you all so much! So for me, I had a really normal week, I got to do an exchange in Nancagua with Elder Barnes and he's one of my best friends here so it was a lot of fun. We got transfer news and nothing it changing, I'm just gonna keep training Elder Messier. I know this transfer might not be super easy but I'm excited for what the Lord is going to teach me if I let him.  On the spiritual side I had a very spiritual study reading 2 Nephi 4. I love how he is able to remember the Savior and is able to overcome the adversary. It's very powerful and I know we all fight our battles with temptation and weaknesses and Satan is coming at us from all angles, but if we remain focused on Christ and the power he gives us, we can "give no place for the enemy of my soul." Learning of the Savior (May 22, 2023)

Hey everyone! I wanna start out this email with a shout out for Mylie winning state again in Pole Vault, way to get it done!! Im so sorry I've really been bad at writing these past couple weeks! Things have been wild and I've just tried to enjoy the short amount of time on Pdays  to just relax a bit and breathe. This transfer has been one of the hardest I've had in the mission but also one of the best and for sure most memorable!  This last week we had 2 baptisms!! We were finally able to get Davor baptized after teaching and struggling with him since I've arrived to Chepica, it was a great baptism and I'm so happy for him! Our other baptism was Genesis and she is an amazing convert! Her baptism was so spiritual and I'll never forget it. She is a single mother that had prayed that God could help her change her life for the better and she came across missionaries and the church and just knew it was true and hasn't looked back. It had been incredible to see ho...

Back to the beach🌊🌊 (May 8, 2023)

Hey everyone! Sorry I really haven't had any time to write today and I've only got a sec right now so I don't have much to say. We went to the beach in Pichilemu today and now we're on our way home. It was another great week of work here! One highlight was a great exchange I had with Elder Erickson in Santa Cruz and we found 3 families! We taught some good lessons and got Davor back on date which is awesome! I dont have time to write anymore but all I want to share is how important it is to "Feast on the words of Christ" and how much of a difference it makes in our lives. I know that if we actually read the scriptures and words of modern day prophets every day, we will grow drastically! I know that it is so important! I'll send some pics and write more next week. Love you all! Elder Micheli

Everybody hope you all had a great week back at home, I can't believe it's already time for me to write another one of these letters, but here I am haha. This week was pretty interesting here. We had a lot of ups and downs had a lot of rejection, but we still found some success, which is awesome.  To start out the week, we went to San Fernando for Zone Conference and it was great. I really learned a lot and felt the spirit. After that, we got to do some exchanges and I was with Elder Barnes and he's pretty dope. We had a great time together and really got along well. The rest of the week we just stayed hard at work, always getting stuff done. The last couple days the rain finally came and it has been downpouring. It rained so much haha!  On Saturday, we had Wilgen's baptism, his dad, Wilky, is a member and he's from Haiti and Wilgens got here about a month ago, and we were able to get him on date and baptized. It was really great to see him learn and grow even thoug...

New Companion (Apr. 24, 2023)

Hey y'all, I had another solid week out here in Chile! To start out, I got my new companion, his name is Elder Messier, he's from Washington State, he just got here and like any other new American missionary, doesn't know Spanish yet, so I'm really getting put to work haha! We had a week full of miracles and success, we had 5 people go to church, which is awesome because it's like a solid 30 minute drive, Wilgens passed his baptism interview and is ready for his baptism this Saturday, and we found a couple new families to teach! It's going great out here! I don't really have much time to write today, but I'd love to hear from y'all sometime! Have a great week! Elder Micheli
