1st Week Training and a Baptism! (Dec. 19, 2022)

Hey everyone! This week was really awesome! Tuesday I went up to Rancagua to get my new companion, it was pretty sweet, they put all the trainers on one side and all the new missionaries on the other and they could call out the companions, it was awesome! My new companion is Elder Carballo and he is from Spain and he is a dope dude. He showed up ready to work and I really can ask for anything more in a new companion. I'm super excited for all that we're gonna get to do here in Chimbarongo. We were able to visit a lot of members this week and it was great! 

My very first day in the mission field in San Fernando I contacted a guy named Leonidas in the street, and we taught him my entire time there and he came to church every week. He was an incredible guy from Venezuela and Columbia that's been through a lot in his life. We weren't able to baptize him during my time there and that was pretty sad, but we did put him on a date for December 18 while I was there. Yesterday the missionaries in San Fernando called and said Leonidas is getting baptized and that he wants Elder Micheli to baptize him. So we were able to go to San Fernando right after church here in Chimbarongo and I got to baptize Leonidas. I can't even explain the spirit that I felt at this baptism, he is someone I have loved and prayed for since literally day one here in Chile and to see what the gospel has done to him is unbelievable.

Remember I love to hear from everyone! I miss you all a lot and hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas! It's crazy to think I'm already about 6 months into this thing but there is a long long way to go haha. Love you all tons!

Good morning everyone! I hope you've all had a great week, my week was awesome down here in Chile! I'm definitely missing March Madness and the start of track season, but there's nothing I'd rather miss it for than being here in the mission helping the people and making memories!  Things are going very well right now in San Javier, and I'm so happy to be serving here! Transfer news came this week and Elder Biggs got separated, we had an awesome 2 transfers together, made a ton of awesome memories and were able to help a lot of people! I'll miss him a lot, but he's got a bright mission ahead of him and a lot of bigger and better things coming his way! So my news is that I'm going to train for my last 2 transfers here and stay in San Javier. I love this area and I'm very excited to end my mission here! Joy in Service (Feb. 26, 2024)

Hey everyone I'm back after another quick week of hard work! This week flew by and it was a lot of fun! My favorite highlights from the week were the service that we got to do for some members. Our lunch on Thursday was with a family out in the country and they have a little ranch with cows and everything and I was so happy to be there. I never thought that I could be so happy to smell cow poop and move hay bales but I sure was. It made me pretty trunky honestly haha. Our other service was on Saturday and it was with some other members that live out in the country as well and we got to cut down a bunch of weeds and grass with a scythe and I loved it!  I love the joy that we feel as we serve other people! Serving without expecting anything in return, just helping someone because you love them and they need help, it's the best feeling! Weekly (Mar. 4, 2024)

Hey everyone, I really haven't had time to write today and sorry this email is going to be really short, but I'm keeping at my goal and I'm not missing any more weekly emails. This week I had an exchange with Elder Calizaya and it was a lot of fun, he's about to finish his mission and he really helped me see how to have a positive attitude until the end of the mission! We did some fun service stacking hay on Saturday, I was so happy throwing those haybales haha. We had some friends come to church and they're really excited to get baptized here in a few weeks!
