2 Weeks in and Time to Fly Out (July 9, 2022)

Hey everyone! This week seemed to go by a lot faster and I had a great time. With that being said I am so excited to head out and get down to Mexico City. Home MTC has been great, but I'm sure it's gonna be a lot better in person. I fly out Tuesday morning on a direct flight straight to Mexico City. It's sad to leave everyone behind but these 2 weeks at home have got me ready!

Soo about my week, last Saturday was my Pday and I got to go to Cokeville and baptize my cousin Titan. It was a great experience and the spirit was so strong! I also got to say goodbye to all the Teicherts. Sunday was great of course and then Monday was the 4th so we didn't have any afternoon classes. So me and my comp. Elder Wendel decided to meet up and hangout with us in our free time. His family has a nice big cabin up close to Kamas Utah so it was about a 1.5 hour drive for each of us so it ended up being perfect. That afternoon we played a lot of basketball with his brothers, hung out and just had a great time. I packed to stay the night there then we got up and did the morning class together and then we each went home after that, I was so glad that I was able to go and do all that. The rest of the week was great and we just kept on grindin out all that work online and we're having lots of fun doing it. This weekend is our big Micheli Reunion here on the ranch so I'll get to spend my last couple days here with lots of family. This is all so great!

I better share a quick spiritual thought because I'm a missionary... duh. In Alma 56 it tells the story of the Stripling Warriors about to go to battle. They were teenage boys and had never fought before and were about to fight a very powerful army. When asked by their captain Helaman, "What say ye my sons, will you go against them to battle?" The boys replied, "For behold our god is with us and he will not suffer that we should fall." It then says, "They had been taught by their mothers that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them." I love relating this to us missionaries going out into the world to teach, we are young and inadequate, just like the stripling warriors were young and inadequate to fight in their battle. But I know that by the power of God we will be just like the Army of Helaman and we will be the lord's missionaries to bring the world his truth. 

I'll get this thing wrapped up so you don't have to be reading way too long. I just hope that everyone is doing well and that y'all know that I would love to get emails from anyone at any time. I'm a little nervous but mostly excited to get on that plane and begin this adventure for the next 2 years.

Good morning everyone! I hope you've all had a great week, my week was awesome down here in Chile! I'm definitely missing March Madness and the start of track season, but there's nothing I'd rather miss it for than being here in the mission helping the people and making memories!  Things are going very well right now in San Javier, and I'm so happy to be serving here! Transfer news came this week and Elder Biggs got separated, we had an awesome 2 transfers together, made a ton of awesome memories and were able to help a lot of people! I'll miss him a lot, but he's got a bright mission ahead of him and a lot of bigger and better things coming his way! So my news is that I'm going to train for my last 2 transfers here and stay in San Javier. I love this area and I'm very excited to end my mission here! Joy in Service (Feb. 26, 2024)

Hey everyone I'm back after another quick week of hard work! This week flew by and it was a lot of fun! My favorite highlights from the week were the service that we got to do for some members. Our lunch on Thursday was with a family out in the country and they have a little ranch with cows and everything and I was so happy to be there. I never thought that I could be so happy to smell cow poop and move hay bales but I sure was. It made me pretty trunky honestly haha. Our other service was on Saturday and it was with some other members that live out in the country as well and we got to cut down a bunch of weeds and grass with a scythe and I loved it!  I love the joy that we feel as we serve other people! Serving without expecting anything in return, just helping someone because you love them and they need help, it's the best feeling! Weekly (Mar. 4, 2024)

Hey everyone, I really haven't had time to write today and sorry this email is going to be really short, but I'm keeping at my goal and I'm not missing any more weekly emails. This week I had an exchange with Elder Calizaya and it was a lot of fun, he's about to finish his mission and he really helped me see how to have a positive attitude until the end of the mission! We did some fun service stacking hay on Saturday, I was so happy throwing those haybales haha. We had some friends come to church and they're really excited to get baptized here in a few weeks!
