What's up everyone, another week is down on the mission and the time is really flying by so so fast. This week was pretty awesome. We had some great visits and some real miracles. There has been something different with miracles happening more often since I got moved to Chimbarongo it feels like. One miracle was in a lesson we were trying to get a guy to read the Book of Mormon and he was all saying he already knows the Book of Mormon and was saying it can't really help anyone and he just opened it to a random page and pointed to a part and it happened to be 2 Nephi 32:3-5 and that scripture is like so awesome and it just hit him after that he should be reading it. Miracles like that just seem to be getting normal, like it was incredible that he just so happened to open to a part that he exactly needed. Another one is last night we were walking home with the Hermanas and one of them had an impression to take a different road and we did and ended up finding a lady that we've been teaching and she's really been having a hard time and was super grateful to talk to us and now we are able to meet with her this week. Awesome stuff like that, God is totally showing that he is here with us!
So on Saturday we had Samuel's Baptism and it was so great. His wife Scarlet got baptized a few weeks ago and now he is and it is incredible to see how the gospel has changed their lives. They have so much joy in their lives and they are so excited about the idea that they can be sealed forever. Samuel received the Holy Ghost and was ordained a priest yesterday, and also Scarlet was called to be the relief society secretary. She bore her testimony in sacrament meeting and it was incredible how powerful it was, she hasn't even been a member for a month and she understands the gospel very well, it's incredible how many people are truly prepared to hear the gospel and receive it in their lives.
Something spiritual I have been able to realize and focus on is that we are all truly children of God, every single person on this planet. We are all here just striving, doing what we can to make it, trying to help each other and at times get the help we need. I have been able to know that the best help anyone can possibly have is through the Savior Jesus Christ. He is the way to our Salvation, the way for every single child of God. To be saved, he is our light and our way always. The power of his atonement can heal anyone in any situation, he suffered so that we don't have to. Search for him and come to know him and I promise that he will lead you in your life.
Gracias por cada uno de ustedes y todas sus oraciones. Puedo realmente sentirlo y me ayuda muchísimo en la obra aquí. Estoy muy agradecido por mi salvador Jesucriso y por la oportunidad que tenemos para conocerle en esta vida. Esta es su Iglesia, y se que no hay otro camino, ni nombre que podamos recibir la salvación y el amor puro. ¡Gracias a todos, Les amo muchísimo!
