CHILE (Sept. 5, 2022)

So I'm not gonna write too much cuz it was just another week that's flown by lol, and I really don't have too much to say. We had an awesome meeting in Rancagua with Elder Christensen who is the Area 70 here and that was way cool. We even got to ride on the top of a double decker bus on the way there so that was legit! After me and my man Elder Holman had a little exchange together for the evening and that was awesome for us 2 greenies both in Chile for like 3 weeks teaching together, it was a challenge but so good for us. One other story of something that happened was Elder Merrell cut off a good piece of his thumb so that was nasty, he's doing alright tho. As for me, Spanish is improving a lot and I'm starting to be able to talk to people way more and I feel like I'm starting to adjust to the culture a bit. So that's all good. 

Something I've learned this last week is that our attitudes are way important. I can hate getting up at 6:30 every morning or I can accept it and just see it as an opportunity for more work. I can be upset with all these members who don't want to go to church, or I can see it as an opportunity to get more work done. To sum it all up, that's how we can all be about everything. Life is what we make of it regardless of our circumstances. Some really hard things happen and some days do flat out suck and sometimes it's a lot harder to have a good attitude than other times. Although some things may just be tough, take it a day at a time, count your blessings and find a way to be happy, cuz God wants us to be happy!
