Chepica Baptism! (Apr. 10, 2023)

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great Holy Week and Easter! It is the greatest holiday that we have! There is nothing better that we can remember than the last days of Christ's life!  This was a huge week for Chepica!! We had a family home evening with as many people as we could get at Ines's house and President and Hermana Doxey came! We taught an awesome lesson about the gospel of Jesus Christ and used fire and all that! Easily my favorite lesson I've ever taught in the mission! We had a ton of food and it was just such a great night! We also had a baptism on Saturday! We baptized Jose and it was a great experience to help him get baptized. He had been investigating the church for a long time, but never wanted to get baptized until after General Conference, he felt something really special and knew this is what he needed, and we got it done! It was such a good feeling to get a baptism here after all the work we've been putting in, sometimes it feels like we work ai...

Move Forward in Christ (Apr. 3, 2023)

Hey everyone, I hope you all had the chance to listen to General Conference, and if you didn't, I hope you go back and take the time to listen to it. I loved it so much!  All I have to say this week is what the Lord said to us through his prophet yesterday. How we treat people really does matter and the Lord is asking us to be peacemakers. We must love everyone regardless of any type of differences we may have, and truly try to see them as God sees them. We are all sacred creations of a loving father in heaven. We will show our discipleship to God through our love for others, when we love God we will assist him in his great work.  I know this is the church of Jesus Christ, I love Savior and know he is the redeemer of the world, he wants to heal each and every one of us.  Elder Micheli

Transfers and More Changes (Apr. 17, 2023)

Hey everyone back at home!! Another week has passed by here in the mission! I'm almost halfway done now, so so crazy! I'm loving Chepica, this little town is so great and it's having a huge influence on me! These last 6 weeks with Elder Wendel have been some of the greatest moments of the mission and honestly my entire life! This last transfer was a blast! So transfer news came in on Saturday and my companionship with Elder Wendel is sadly coming to an end. He's going up to the city in Rancagua and is gonna be a ZL up there, huge shoutout to Elder Wendel, he's a DAWG and has had a huge influence on Chepica and has this place all set up for me to lead it! I'm obviously staying here, and I'm going to be training again, I'm also going to be our DL now. I'm really excited, but I know these next couple months are going to be pretty tough! It's time for me to train, DL, find, teach, baptize, start a group, and open a branch! This is gonna be crazy haha...
