Elder Micheli--Chile Rancagua Mission

Hey everyone, I'm gonna have to be pretty short this week because we've been at the beach again today and I haven't had much time to write. Anyways, this week was a bit slower for the work, my comp got sick and we couldn't go work the first 2 days which made it hard to keep things rolling and get more lessons setup for the rest of the week. However, by the end of the week we really had things going again and found a lot of really good people! The best part of the week is that our friend Brandon was baptized on Sunday!! He was so prepared for the gospel!! We felt a prompting to knock his door one day, and 16 days later he was baptized, it was seriously so incredible. He was prepared and the Lord lead us to him. Another unforgettable experience from the mission! I'll try and write some more next week! This week there's transfers and a lot of work to do! I'll get back next week! Hey everyone!! I'm gonna be pretty quick this week because we're at a zone Pday and I don't have much time to write, but I'm gonna make sure and stay solid on my goal to write an email every week!  So last week I talked about Brandon and the part member family we found and just so you all know they are doing great!! Brandon will be getting baptized this Sunday! Only 16 days after knocking his door, he was so prepared for this gospel!! We have a lot of good people that we're teaching and the area has a lot of potential!  Some things about this week are I had an exchange with Elder Kosorok which was a lot of fun just since we've been with each other in the mission since day 1, and we also had interviews with President which was great! About Chile right now, it's so hot here, literally every single day the sun there are no clouds and the sun is awful, and we walk everywhere, but the more we keep working even when it's hard is when we keep seeing the greates...

Hey everyone, another week down out here, things are going great!! I think the Lord knew a Bills loss would hurt pretty bad so he blessed up big time so I don't have time to get down too bad hahah. We were extremely blessed this last week, we had a lot of prayers answered and some very spiritual lessons.  I started the week with an exchange in Talca with Elder Calizaya and it was a lot of fun, we did some service and taught some powerful lessons to some of their friends. After that, I had the rest of the week here in San Javier with Elder Biggs to go and get after it. We've found a lot of people, but it had been hard to find people who are really willing to keep commitments like coming to church and accepting baptismal dates. We set goals and prayed hard that we could be lead to those that are prepared to be baptized right now. A few days passed and it was just the same thing every day, good lessons, but no one ever wanted to commit to anything. Until Friday we were walking do...

Hello everyone!! I'm going to be quick this week because were having a district Pday in Constitución and its gonna be tons of fun! It's a beautiful town on the coast down here and it's absolutely gorgeous, it has some huge rocks, a massive sand hill, and it's just awesome! I went for the first time earlier in the week, I had an exchange with Elder Call there and it was great! It was my 3rd time having an exchange with him and it's been really cool to see how much better of a missionary he is every time. We had an amazing miracle and found someone who is very prepared to receive the gospel! For Elder Biggs and I this week in Sam Javier we were able to find a lot of people to teach, but it's been harder to get the people to keep their commitments. Everyone is so nice and willing to listen, but we're working hard to find the elect who will not only hear with word, but also follow it. Hey everyone!! Here I am staying up on my new year's resolution to write an email every week haha! So much happened this week, a lot of unexpected things and miracles!  So last P-day we went to the beach in Iloca and it was a lot of fun! It was also packed with people because it was new years, but it was a lot of fun! Tuesday we had MLC in San Fernando and it was a great meeting! At the end, President talked to me and let me know he feels like I need to go be a trainer again and that he was going to have me go serve in San Javier. So the next day we had Zone Conference in Curico and I had to show up with my bags packed and ready to go, I got my new companion there, his name is Elder Biggs and he's great!! He's from California and likes football, we're getting along great and I'm so grateful that I get to be his companion. Hey everyone!! I hope you've all had a very Merry Christmas and that 2024 will be the best year ever! Sorry I haven't been doing so good about writing emails lately. How about a good new years resolution that I write one every week from now until the end of my mission? I'll do my best! Anyways I'll try and tell what's been happening. These have been some very special weeks for me here in the mission! We had 3 baptisms and they were all really awesome! We baptized Gabriel Sunday the 17th and he is so great! He's a 12 year old and always full of energy so it wasn't always easy to teach him, but it's amazing to see how him making good choices has filled him with the spirit! Then on Christmas eve we had 2 baptisms, one was Vicente who we had found just 3 weeks before. His mom is a member and we contacted her in the street. They had recently moved to Curico from Quillota and her oldest son Vicente loved the gospel from the moment he met him and committed to b...

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been having much time to write lately, but I have a sec today so I'll give a quick update about what's been going on. These last 2 weeks we've had Zone Conference, MLC, and Zone council so we've been pretty full with meetings and helping out the missionaries in our Zone! I've also been able to have some awesome exchanges with some Elderes. I went to another area in Curico called Rauquen with Elder Carranza from Peru, one in my area with Elder Prieto who's from Logan, another one here with Elder Leleo from Arizona, and I got to go to Lontue with Elder Mongelos who's from Argentina. We've got a bunch more planned for this week as well so that's all exciting!!  It's been going great with all the people we're teaching! Yesterday we had 9 friends at church which is awesome! We have a bunch of people progressing and lots will be baptized here soon! We also have some awesome recent converts here that are helping us ...
