Coya and Zone Conference (Oct. 16, 2023)

Hey y'all!! How have things been goin?? I had a pretty awesome week out here! We worked really hard and saw some awesome miracles! 

Last Tuesday we went up to a town way up in the mountains called Coya! It was really cool! We were able to teach a referral and his family up there and go see some members. It was gorgeous and was an awesome day! Throughout the week we were able to find a bunch of new people and teach a lot of awesome lessons! We decided to really focus on finding and teaching part member families and this week we were finally able to start teaching some! We taught a few and made a bunch of plans to go and see them again this week so we're praying that they can really start progressing! Another sweet highlight is I finally got to have an exchange with Elder Kosorok from my MTC district, we had an awesome day!! We also had Zone Conference on Friday and it was really good! We learned a lot about how to be more effective missionaries and baptize which is awesome! I always love getting some direction on how to be more effective out here!

So that was the week summed up really briefly, but we're working super hard and hoping to see some really good results these next few weeks! A scripture that stuck out to me this week is Moroni 7:33, it says, "And Christ hath said: If ye will have faith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me." I love that it shows faith as a principle of action and that if we truly trust in Christ he will give us the power necessary to do what he asks of us. Our faith will give us access to heavenly power! We can always exercise more faith, there are no limits to it! So there's also no limits to the power that we can receive, and that's awesome!
