God's Work (Nov. 6, 2023)

Hey everybody! I hope you're all doing great! I've been a little more homesick than usual these past couple weeks with the bull sale back at home and hearing about MV winning state in volleyball AGAIN!! I was excited to hear about it all from here though. 

These past weeks have been really good! Time really seems to be flying by lately! We're already coming to the end of another transfer here this next week. This has been another transfer full of hard work, exchanges, being exhausted, daily miracles, rejection, sun, rain, hot, cold, and just about everything hahaha. I've loved it all though! My testimony just continues to grow of the amazing power that Christ has and that we are without a doubt in his true and restored church and that he leads this work. I'm loving my time out here!

An awesome highlight is that yesterday morning hermana Ines surprised me and came to church in Machali!! It was so awesome to see her again and get to talk to her! She also bore her testimony in sacrament meeting and wow, it was powerful!! I really miss being around her and learning from her. She is a true example of no matter how hard our lives or circumstances may be, we can always find joy and peace by following Jesus Christ in all we do. Also, Samuel and Scarlett came up on Wednesday to come as say hi! It was great to see them again and know that they're doing great! I've been so blessed to know incredible people in my time here! 

The mission just keeps on flying by! I'm really excited for everything that's coming up in these next few months as well! I'd love to hear from you guys at home! Love you all a ton!

Good morning everyone! I hope you've all had a great week, my week was awesome down here in Chile! I'm definitely missing March Madness and the start of track season, but there's nothing I'd rather miss it for than being here in the mission helping the people and making memories!  Things are going very well right now in San Javier, and I'm so happy to be serving here! Transfer news came this week and Elder Biggs got separated, we had an awesome 2 transfers together, made a ton of awesome memories and were able to help a lot of people! I'll miss him a lot, but he's got a bright mission ahead of him and a lot of bigger and better things coming his way! So my news is that I'm going to train for my last 2 transfers here and stay in San Javier. I love this area and I'm very excited to end my mission here! Joy in Service (Feb. 26, 2024)

Hey everyone I'm back after another quick week of hard work! This week flew by and it was a lot of fun! My favorite highlights from the week were the service that we got to do for some members. Our lunch on Thursday was with a family out in the country and they have a little ranch with cows and everything and I was so happy to be there. I never thought that I could be so happy to smell cow poop and move hay bales but I sure was. It made me pretty trunky honestly haha. Our other service was on Saturday and it was with some other members that live out in the country as well and we got to cut down a bunch of weeds and grass with a scythe and I loved it!  I love the joy that we feel as we serve other people! Serving without expecting anything in return, just helping someone because you love them and they need help, it's the best feeling! Weekly (Mar. 4, 2024)

Hey everyone, I really haven't had time to write today and sorry this email is going to be really short, but I'm keeping at my goal and I'm not missing any more weekly emails. This week I had an exchange with Elder Calizaya and it was a lot of fun, he's about to finish his mission and he really helped me see how to have a positive attitude until the end of the mission! We did some fun service stacking hay on Saturday, I was so happy throwing those haybales haha. We had some friends come to church and they're really excited to get baptized here in a few weeks!
