Helping the Lord do the Work (Aug. 14, 2023)

Hey everyone hows it been going?? Sorry I haven't written anything for the past couple of weeks! We have been busy busy and we've been seeing a lot of success! The weather has been really weird lately. It's been super hot one day then the next is super rainy and cold. I also just hit a year in Chile last week. I hit a year of drinking coke and eating bread everyday for a year. Pretty sick! The mission has just been flying. 

Me and Elder Holman are working really hard and we have been teaching some awesome people! One guy were teaching is Joaquin and he fights in MMA and he's actually really good. But this guy has such a desire to just follow Jesus Christ. It's so cool because in the lessons he can recognize the spirit so well! He's been feeling a lot of peace and happiness! He'll also be getting baptized here soon! Also, we're teaching a Venezuelan family and these guys are the best. I love them a lot. We found them like 5 weeks ago and they are all progressing so much. They all want to get baptized and their daughter Valeria is getting baptized this next Friday! 

Also this next week we'll be going to the temple! I am super super excited for that! In the mission we get to go one time so I'm super excited! 

I absolutely love the mission. It's hard and tiring but there's nothing better than seeing others come unto Christ and feeling the love he has for them! The mission isn't about me or any missionary. I'm out here on the Lord's errand. I know that this is the church of Jesus Christ and this is the truth.

Good morning everyone! I hope you've all had a great week, my week was awesome down here in Chile! I'm definitely missing March Madness and the start of track season, but there's nothing I'd rather miss it for than being here in the mission helping the people and making memories!  Things are going very well right now in San Javier, and I'm so happy to be serving here! Transfer news came this week and Elder Biggs got separated, we had an awesome 2 transfers together, made a ton of awesome memories and were able to help a lot of people! I'll miss him a lot, but he's got a bright mission ahead of him and a lot of bigger and better things coming his way! So my news is that I'm going to train for my last 2 transfers here and stay in San Javier. I love this area and I'm very excited to end my mission here! Joy in Service (Feb. 26, 2024)

Hey everyone I'm back after another quick week of hard work! This week flew by and it was a lot of fun! My favorite highlights from the week were the service that we got to do for some members. Our lunch on Thursday was with a family out in the country and they have a little ranch with cows and everything and I was so happy to be there. I never thought that I could be so happy to smell cow poop and move hay bales but I sure was. It made me pretty trunky honestly haha. Our other service was on Saturday and it was with some other members that live out in the country as well and we got to cut down a bunch of weeds and grass with a scythe and I loved it!  I love the joy that we feel as we serve other people! Serving without expecting anything in return, just helping someone because you love them and they need help, it's the best feeling! Weekly (Mar. 4, 2024)

Hey everyone, I really haven't had time to write today and sorry this email is going to be really short, but I'm keeping at my goal and I'm not missing any more weekly emails. This week I had an exchange with Elder Calizaya and it was a lot of fun, he's about to finish his mission and he really helped me see how to have a positive attitude until the end of the mission! We did some fun service stacking hay on Saturday, I was so happy throwing those haybales haha. We had some friends come to church and they're really excited to get baptized here in a few weeks!
