(Sept. 18, 2023)

Hey everyone!! Sorry I haven't written in a while! There's been a lot going on and ill try and do my best to get y'all caught up. Just so y'all know, today is September 18th, which is Chile's independence day, and it's a very big deal here. There are so many awesome parties and the food is the BEST! I want to spend all my birthdays in Chile, it's seriously so awesome here right now!

We've had baptisms these past 2 weeks which was so awesome! Joaquin and Daniela were both baptized and it's been incredible to see how they've progressed since we started teaching them! Joaquin has so much faith, he is honestly so cool! He is a professional cage fighter and he's working on making it to the UFC! He's also thinking about serving a mission now!! I love the dude so much, and I know he loves me too because my name is Connor, and McGregor is literally his idol. Anyways Daniela got baptized last Saturday on my birthday and that was awesome! She's Valeria's younger sister, Valeria got baptized a few weeks ago but Daniela didn't want to listen to is at all, but with time and a lot of visits with them she knew she had to be baptized and made the decision! It was so cool to see how present the spirit was in helping her make the right decision. 

About 2 weeks ago I was in Doñihue on exchanges and they had a branch party and it was so so fun! I got to Dance the Bomba in their talent show, it was an awesome party! Another awesome highlight is that Hermana Ines from Chepica came and saw me and Elder Wendel!! She gave us some awesome ponchos for our birthday and we went out to eat, it was a really good lunch too! Ines is so so amazing and I've been missing her so much! Also last Pday our whole zone got together and went on a hike and had a whole lotta of fun! There's a lot of other awesome stuff that's been going on but these are the highlights that stick out to me.

I'm loving my mission and I can't believe how fast it's flying by! I'm loving every moment and trying to make the most of this mission. I'm so grateful I've been called to serve! I know that there isn't any place I should rather be right now, or something better I could be doing at this time, I love being in the Lord's service. I know this is his church and that he restored it. I know that our father in Heaven has a perfect love for everyone and he wants us all to return to him, and he has asked us to help everyone come to the truth. It's a blessing to be here and I'm just loving being a missionary! I hope you're all doing good and I'd love to hear from ya!!

Good morning everyone! I hope you've all had a great week, my week was awesome down here in Chile! I'm definitely missing March Madness and the start of track season, but there's nothing I'd rather miss it for than being here in the mission helping the people and making memories!  Things are going very well right now in San Javier, and I'm so happy to be serving here! Transfer news came this week and Elder Biggs got separated, we had an awesome 2 transfers together, made a ton of awesome memories and were able to help a lot of people! I'll miss him a lot, but he's got a bright mission ahead of him and a lot of bigger and better things coming his way! So my news is that I'm going to train for my last 2 transfers here and stay in San Javier. I love this area and I'm very excited to end my mission here! Joy in Service (Feb. 26, 2024)

Hey everyone I'm back after another quick week of hard work! This week flew by and it was a lot of fun! My favorite highlights from the week were the service that we got to do for some members. Our lunch on Thursday was with a family out in the country and they have a little ranch with cows and everything and I was so happy to be there. I never thought that I could be so happy to smell cow poop and move hay bales but I sure was. It made me pretty trunky honestly haha. Our other service was on Saturday and it was with some other members that live out in the country as well and we got to cut down a bunch of weeds and grass with a scythe and I loved it!  I love the joy that we feel as we serve other people! Serving without expecting anything in return, just helping someone because you love them and they need help, it's the best feeling! Weekly (Mar. 4, 2024)

Hey everyone, I really haven't had time to write today and sorry this email is going to be really short, but I'm keeping at my goal and I'm not missing any more weekly emails. This week I had an exchange with Elder Calizaya and it was a lot of fun, he's about to finish his mission and he really helped me see how to have a positive attitude until the end of the mission! We did some fun service stacking hay on Saturday, I was so happy throwing those haybales haha. We had some friends come to church and they're really excited to get baptized here in a few weeks!
