Disfrutando Chile (May 6, 2024)

Hola mi gente!! I had another great week here! It's crazy to think that I'll be seeing you all here next month! It's coming up really fast!

With time running out I have a lot of mixed emotions, I'm obviously really excited to be home and see everyone, it's gonna be so awesome! However, I am pretty sad about having to leave Chile and the mission. 

I have grown to love Chile so much, the people and the culture, just all of it, I love trying to be a little more Chilean every day. I'm really trying to enjoy every last moment I have here, trying to eat all the completos and sopapillas possible, and just enjoying the experience of being in Chile.

I'm also really trying to soak in every moment of missionary work that I'm doing. Teaching and testifying of Jesus Christ and his restored gospel is seriously so awesome! I genuinely love doing it! I love seeing how the spirit of the Lord touches the hearts of people and helps them change in order to accept Christ in their lives. 

After all of this time here, and after all of the lives I've seen change thanks to this gospel, I will never be able to deny that this work is true. I have no doubt that this is God's work and his grace and mercy are available to each and every one of us, all we have to do is humble ourselves and accept him in our lives. 

This week we found a lot of new people which was super exciting, we had 2 people come to church for the first time and helped get 2 other friends ready for their baptism interviews. We're super busy! 

Today we went up in the Andes and it was unbelievable! I got to see snow for the first time since I left home! Today has been one of the best Pdays I've ever had and we went to some of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my life!
This week I am going to have my very last zone conference, it's crazy to think, but I'm very excited. We'll also have stake conference this Sunday. I'm really excited because we'll have an area 70 at both of the conferences, I'm excited to listen and learn to what he has to teach!

I love and miss you all a ton! I'm really excited to keep working here in Chile until the end. Its been an amazing experience but it's not over yet! Until next week!

Good morning everyone! I hope you've all had a great week, my week was awesome down here in Chile! I'm definitely missing March Madness and the start of track season, but there's nothing I'd rather miss it for than being here in the mission helping the people and making memories!  Things are going very well right now in San Javier, and I'm so happy to be serving here! Transfer news came this week and Elder Biggs got separated, we had an awesome 2 transfers together, made a ton of awesome memories and were able to help a lot of people! I'll miss him a lot, but he's got a bright mission ahead of him and a lot of bigger and better things coming his way! So my news is that I'm going to train for my last 2 transfers here and stay in San Javier. I love this area and I'm very excited to end my mission here! Joy in Service (Feb. 26, 2024)

Hey everyone I'm back after another quick week of hard work! This week flew by and it was a lot of fun! My favorite highlights from the week were the service that we got to do for some members. Our lunch on Thursday was with a family out in the country and they have a little ranch with cows and everything and I was so happy to be there. I never thought that I could be so happy to smell cow poop and move hay bales but I sure was. It made me pretty trunky honestly haha. Our other service was on Saturday and it was with some other members that live out in the country as well and we got to cut down a bunch of weeds and grass with a scythe and I loved it!  I love the joy that we feel as we serve other people! Serving without expecting anything in return, just helping someone because you love them and they need help, it's the best feeling! Weekly (Mar. 4, 2024)

Hey everyone, I really haven't had time to write today and sorry this email is going to be really short, but I'm keeping at my goal and I'm not missing any more weekly emails. This week I had an exchange with Elder Calizaya and it was a lot of fun, he's about to finish his mission and he really helped me see how to have a positive attitude until the end of the mission! We did some fun service stacking hay on Saturday, I was so happy throwing those haybales haha. We had some friends come to church and they're really excited to get baptized here in a few weeks!
