About That Time... (June 3, 2024)

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I didn't write an email last week, we spent our Pday in Conti at the beach and I tried to make to most of every moment there! I love Conti, like seriously one of the prettiest places I've ever been and when I make it back to Chile, I guarantee that I'll be going there to visit! 

These last 2 weeks I've had 2 exchanges in Conti, one with Elder Scott from Texas and the other with Elder Perdiguero from Argentina! They were both really awesome exchanges and I was able to learn a lot from both of them about the importance of our attitudes and desires.

These past 2 weeks I've had to take some disappointment in San Javier, but it's alright. We've worked really hard and had 6 people on date to get baptized these last 2 weeks while I'm still here, but sadly, for various reasons, none of these people will be getting baptized quite yet. It is pretty sad because I definitely wanted to baptized a couple more people before going home, but I know that God has a plan for each of these people and I'm going to continue to do my best to help them keep progressing so that they can all be baptized here in next weeks or months!

I've studied a lot lately about service and the importance of serving others. I've also learned that we can serve people physically as well as spiritually. The mission has opened my eyes of all the incredible opportunities that we have to serve others! It's seriously limitless! Service is key to happiness and the key to service is love! 

I'll be coming home next week on the 14th and I'll be speaking at the Bridger Valley Stake Center on Sunday the 16th at 9am. I am so excited to be reunited with all of the people that I love so much! I hope you all have a great week!

Good morning everyone! I hope you've all had a great week, my week was awesome down here in Chile! I'm definitely missing March Madness and the start of track season, but there's nothing I'd rather miss it for than being here in the mission helping the people and making memories!  Things are going very well right now in San Javier, and I'm so happy to be serving here! Transfer news came this week and Elder Biggs got separated, we had an awesome 2 transfers together, made a ton of awesome memories and were able to help a lot of people! I'll miss him a lot, but he's got a bright mission ahead of him and a lot of bigger and better things coming his way! So my news is that I'm going to train for my last 2 transfers here and stay in San Javier. I love this area and I'm very excited to end my mission here! Joy in Service (Feb. 26, 2024)

Hey everyone I'm back after another quick week of hard work! This week flew by and it was a lot of fun! My favorite highlights from the week were the service that we got to do for some members. Our lunch on Thursday was with a family out in the country and they have a little ranch with cows and everything and I was so happy to be there. I never thought that I could be so happy to smell cow poop and move hay bales but I sure was. It made me pretty trunky honestly haha. Our other service was on Saturday and it was with some other members that live out in the country as well and we got to cut down a bunch of weeds and grass with a scythe and I loved it!  I love the joy that we feel as we serve other people! Serving without expecting anything in return, just helping someone because you love them and they need help, it's the best feeling! Weekly (Mar. 4, 2024)

Hey everyone, I really haven't had time to write today and sorry this email is going to be really short, but I'm keeping at my goal and I'm not missing any more weekly emails. This week I had an exchange with Elder Calizaya and it was a lot of fun, he's about to finish his mission and he really helped me see how to have a positive attitude until the end of the mission! We did some fun service stacking hay on Saturday, I was so happy throwing those haybales haha. We had some friends come to church and they're really excited to get baptized here in a few weeks!
